This journal describes how the San Francisco Department of Public Health designed and implemented their Trauma-Informed Systems Initiative, an organizational model to address trauma at the systems level. It asserts that like individuals, organizations experience trauma and embed it within their culture. In response, it advocates for the adoption of trauma-informed practices at the organizational level.
