View the video to learn about the lifelong impact of trauma on health, and how trauma-informed care can create a more welcoming environment for patients, providers, and staff. How to Use This Video

Use this video to spread the word about the impact of trauma on health and how adopting trauma-informed care can potentially improve patient engagement, treatment adherence, and health outcomes, as well as provider and staff wellness. Use the video in a variety of ways to inform key audiences, for example:

  • Senior Decision-Makers: Demonstrate the value of trauma-informed care and gain buy-in to initiate new programs.
  • Clinical/Non-Clinical Staff: Introduce the concept of trauma-informed care by screening the video at a staff meeting or training, and/or incorporate into new employee onboarding.
  • Health Care Providers: Illustrate how peers are adopting trauma-informed approaches to improve patient outcomes and combat burnout.
